For both personal and relationship growth, there are key things we need:

Individual growth: Safety, trust, skills, and self-worth.

Relationship growth: Safety, trust, skills, and harmony.

Why is the foundation important?

To grow as healthy adults, we need a solid base. Safety is the first part. Without it, we can feel stuck. Trust helps us feel safe and grow, both with ourselves and others. We also need skills to live on our own and build strong relationships. If we feel good about ourselves, we’re more likely to succeed.

For relationships, both people need safety, trust, and skills. If we don't know how to stay safe, trust, or communicate, problems like jealousy and violence can happen.

The most important things are:

Knowing what to work on.

Caring enough to improve.
